Medical experts claim that volunteering could be a real solution to the mental health crisis facing our young people today. Research has demonstrated positive effects in the health and wellness of both kids and teens when they contribute to the welfare of others, but to be effective, volunteering cannot feel like work or something that is forced, especially when children are involved. The goal of Young Changemakers is to make the experience of volunteering fun, engaging and meaningful for younger generations. We are a centralized database of volunteer opportunities within a community, but that’s just the beginning of our vision…
